The majority of RAY's slot machines and casino games can be played in premises operated by RAY's business partners around Finland.
By working with its 6 600 business partners, RAY is able to support Finnish health and social welfare work. This year funding assistance totalling EUR 407,5 million was provided from RAY's profits.

The total revenue of the RAY (Finnish Slot Machine Association) in 2009 was EUR 650.8 million, which was EUR 8.7 million less than in the previous year (- 1.3 %). This drop in revenue was due to the general economic recession, which affected gaming particularly in restaurants and at Grand Casino Helsinki.

RAY is increasing the maximum wins on its slot machines. Machines located in business premises, such as shops and kiosks, will have their maximum wins increased from €20 to €50, in bars and clubs the increase will be from €40 to €75 and in RAY’s own arcades from €40–50 to €75–100.
