Project funding

Project funding can be granted for for innovative development projects (Ci), or other projects with distinct objectives (Ck).

Project funding is normally granted for the operating costs of the project. It can also be used for small purchases of fixed assets linked to the implementation of the project, provided their service life is not significantly longer than the duration of the project. For larger purchases separate investment funding should be applied for.

Completing the application forms

Organisations applying for project funding should complete RAY’s main application form (3701), the background information form (3702), and a project description form (3705 or 3707).

If supporting documents - such as detailed background reports, implementation plans, other reports, etc. - are attached to the application, these attachments should be shown in the appropriate place at the bottom of the project description form.

Further information about project planning and preparation of applications can be found in RAY's Project Management Guide. The guide can be found in the Resource Bank (in Finnish)
